BOGATA: A field trip led by kids and their professors ended in tragedy on Saturday when their vehicle crashed in eastern Colombia, injuring 11 people and killing at least 10 individuals, according to their school. According to a preliminary investigation, the van driver lost control of the vehicle as it transported 26 people from Tolima to Quindio. According to police chief Luis Fernando Atuesta, many people were thrown from the vehicle after it slammed into the barrier along the Helicoil Bridge in the Quindio area.
