    A German lady is scheduled to appear before a judge in Hamburg on Saturday, and the number of injured patients increased to 18, according to police. The believe, a 39-year-old girl, was detained at the scene of the attack, which shocked the city during the rush hours of the night, Friday at Hamburg’s key place. There was no indication of a “political motive,” according to Hamburg police spokesman Florian Abbenseth, and the woman may have been experiencing a mental emergency. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also called the Hamburg president to express his surprise. According to a reading from his spokesman Stefan Kornelius, Merz said,” My views are with the victims and their families.” In recent months, a number of violent attacks, usually motivated by ideology or far-right extremists, have rocked Germany, placing security at the top of the priority list. Four people were hurt in a stabbing at a bar in the city of Bielefeld on Sunday, according to the most current incident. Federal prosecutors have now turned over the investigation into that attack after the Arab suspect admitted to having jihadist beliefs to the police who detained him. During Germany’s new election campaign, the issue of security and some of the adversaries ‘ immigrant backgrounds were a hot topic. The far-right, anti-immigration Alternative for Germany received a report index of more than 20 % in the February vote, which included Merz’s traditional CDU/CSU and top-of-the-show candidates CDU/CSU.
