As part of their efforts to strengthen relationships with Western nations that have lifted sanctions, Arab authorities announced a restructuring of the interior ministry that includes combating cross-border medicine and people smuggling. The new government in Damascus have welcomed Washington’s lifting of US restrictions, which has caused the country to restart and restore roughly 14 times after a bloody civil war broke out. President Donald Trump made the announcement on Friday after holding hands with Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa during a Gulf journey this month. According to official Noureddine al-Baba, the interior ministry’s rebuild included changes and the creation of” a modern civil safety organization that adopts clarity and regards international human rights standards.” He stated at a press conference that it would include establishing a people ‘ problems department and incorporating the police and public safety company into an inner stability control. According to Baba, a border protection agency for Syria’s land and sea borders will be tasked with” combating illegal activities, mainly drug and human trafficking sites.” After Syria became a major supplier of unlawful stimulants, he added, the rebuild includes” strengthening the role of the anti-drug office and more developing its value within Syria and worldwide.” As Bashar al-Assad’s resignation in Syria comes to an end, a new office will be responsible for protection for government buildings and foreign missions. As the war-torn nation home to renowned Unesco World Heritage sites attempts to restart tourism, a hospitality police body did secure guests and sites.

    of crucial relevance

The lifting of sanctions by Washington was welcomed by Syria’s foreign ministry, which called it” a good step in the right direction to reduce the country’s humanitarian and financial problems.” Oncu Keceli, a spokesman for the Turkish foreign government, stated that efforts to restore stability and security to Syria were” of essential value” given the recent US and European Union actions to raise restrictions. Early this month, the European Union announced that its financial sanctions against Syria had been lifted. On his second trip to Turkey since taking office on a visit to examine” common issues,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with him on Saturday, according to Syria’s presidency. Ankara is a big supporter of Syria’s new government, which is negotiating with Kurdish troops that Turkey considers to be “terrorists” and manage large areas of the north. A government delegation made its first stop in the notorious Al-Hol camp, which houses the families of suspected Islamic State ( IS ) militants, on Saturday. Trump claimed that after Assad was overthrown, he wanted to give Syria’s fresh rulers” a chance at glory.” Sharaa met with the US embassy to Turkey, who serves as Washington’s adviser to Syria, while they were in Istanbul. Tom Barrack stated in a speech that” President Trump’s goal is to enable the new government to create the parameters for the Arab citizens to not only survive but thrive.” He added that this would help Washington’s “primary goal” of ensuring the “enduring fight” of IS. Under the law of Bashar al-Assad’s father Hafez, US sanctions were foremost imposed on Syria in 1979. After Syria’s bloody suppression of anti-government demonstrations in 2011 triggered the bloody civil war, they were strongly expanded. Some governments resisted the new administration’s efforts to improve relations with the West and halt sanctions, citing the Islamist history of prominent figures.

    Reconstruction and treatment

The new government is subject to the sanctions pleasure, with the exception of the US Treasury Department’s request that Syria never provide a haven for criminal organizations and ensure protection for religious and ethnic minority. The US State Department also issued a 180-day exemption for the Caesar Act to ensure that foreign purchase in Syria is not impeded by punishment. Any organization or business cooperating with the now ousted government was heavily punished by the 2020 regulations. The cancellation, according to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, had “facilitate the provision of power, electricity, water, and sanitation, and allow a more powerful humanitarian response across Syria.” Rubio did, however, warn that Trump “has made it clear that the Syrian government will take immediate action on significant policy priorities.” He claimed that the sanctions ‘ lifting would encourage “recovery and reconstruction efforts.” More than half a million people were killed and damaged by Syria’s 14-year civil war. According to the spokesman for the interior ministry, about a third of the population had been feigned by the Assad government’s feared intelligence and security services. According to analysts, a complete lifting of sanctions may take time because some US restrictions require that Congress reverse them. Additionally, the Syrian government needs to make an attractive setting for foreign investment.
