Conservation officials reported on Sunday that Taiwanese authorities had detained a man who broke into a record exhibit and damaged an ancient throne, which conservationists believe is one of the country’s most priceless artefacts. The elaborate red-and-gold Nguyen kingdom king, which ruled Vietnam from 1802 to 1945, is now preserved for humanity in Hue state’s Thai Hoa Palace. A 42-year-old person” went into the Nguyen dynasty show place, screamed, and finally broke the top left seat,” according to a declaration from the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre ( HMCC). The person can be seen sitting cross-legged on the two-century-old king, which has been decorated with dragon patterns, in film that has been circulated on social media and Vietnam information sites purporting to show the event. He was immediately detained, but he displayed” signs of illness, screaming, talking nonsense, and was unable to respond to the inspector’s questions,” according to the HMCC. According to the statement, police detained him to perform a medical evaluation, while removing the throne for restoration and preservation efforts. This is an “extremely unique incident,” according to the HMCC statement. The Vietnam’s ministry of culture, sports, and hospitality has requested an immediate report on the incident. Under the Nguyen dynasty, Hue, the capital of integrated Vietnam, was established as the funds of the northern town. It contains a number of antiquated houses, tombs, and documents, and was declared a world heritage site by Unesco in 1993.
