British YouTuber Miles Routledge, known as” Lord Miles,” targeted Indians once more and made up claims that Indians from other countries lied in conversations. He is known for his bigoted remarks and social media teasing. The YouTuber shared an anecdote, whose authenticity is still under question, saying that he has a friend in Google HR who informed him that 80 % of applications are from Indians and that” a vast majority of them lie in the interview in such an obvious manner ( sic )”. One claimed that his nephew was behind the founding of Google, while another claimed that he had assisted the CEO in getting the job and promised to do the same. The Google team’s voice is obviously impossible to handle, and the majority, if not all, cannot speak English. Some people have described “personal health issues” in in individual interviews, which Miles wrote opened the door for Indian-haters. They don’t see lying and deceit in the same way Europeans do. In India, you are regarded as the intelligent one who “beat” the other if you defraud or steal someone. They view it as a source of pride, one author wrote. One US official claimed to be in charge of managing some interviewing for a few technology positions. The man claimed that Indians frequently fabricate information that they have 20 years of experience and do not require a visa. The real con is that they all claim to have some sort of plan to always have sponsorship, and then they all have an F-1 visa. Finally, if you hire them because you’re stupid, they will request sponsorship within weeks. And then stop when you tell them no,” the man said. A scholar visa is required for an F-1 card in the US. It is well known that Indians simply employ another Indian nationals, one wrote. In 2024 Miles Routledge made a joke about using nuclear weapons against India, but the virtual community was against him. Miles, who is referred to as an adventure traveler, gained popularity in 2021 when he was abandoned in Afghanistan during the Taliban’s rule. He made the decision to travel to Afghanistan after learning that it was included on Google’s list of the most dangerous nations to explore. He was detained by Taliban knowledge in 2023.
