Republicans and Democrats don’t utilize PR in the same way.
If you’re a Republican, your interaction with the internet is almost always hostile. No liberal since John McCain views them as an ally, but they must be properly circumvented or instantly bulldozed. They’re at best a valuable counterweight.

at worst? They give you the biggest frickin’ frustration.
In order to have a fighting chance, Republicans literally had to create a completely separate ecosystem, including Fox News, alternative media ( like this site ), X.com, and podcasts.
Not the case with Democrats. The major media is your ally, best companion, and creative partner if you’re a tofu-munching progressive. You cast the identical ballot and hold the same beliefs.
And most important, you detest the same items as well. ( Namely, conservatives. )
So it kind of makes sense that the Democratic Party had use PR to telephone its strategies: Having the popular press on your side is a huge plus!  ,
What benefit does an advantage have if it is not used?
Which brings us to Shane Goldmacher‘s content,” Still Searching for the Path Forward,” which is a piece from The New York Times asking him to” concentrate my work on the rebuilding efforts of the Democratic Party.” Goldmacher conversations numerous consultants and experts who are responsible for the Dems ‘ continued image transformation in it.  ,
It. Is. Bokers!
One veteran Democrat scientist uses a method to entice voters to share their darkest, most profound emotions about politics. She asks them to compare the two major political parties in America to pets.
A dozen patterns have emerged after roughly 250 swing voter focus groups, according to the scientist Anat Shenker-Osorio. Democrats are referred to as “apex predators,” similar to lions, tigers, and fish, which are beasts that eat what they want when they want it. Democrats are commonly described as slow, plodding, passive, or as slugs, or sloths.
But Ms. Shenker-Osorio got excited earlier this year when a Georgian Democratic man suggested a completely different animal represented her party.
He remarked,” A deer in lamps.”

Also, yes. Trump’s first presidential campaign campaign celebration is on June 15. The Democrats have been wildly leaning against the Great Orange Menace for ten years by declaring,” He’s Hitler”! He poses an existential danger, he claims! Politics is on the vote, folks! — and ten years later, Trump is also gushing Diet Cokes in the Oval Office.
You lose control over the plan when you only “brand” yourself by your antagonism to someone. You are made to react defensively.
So it makes sense that Republicans may be labeled as “apex predators” who seized control of the atmosphere, which MAGA did. Additionally, it makes sense that the Dems may get perceived as their victim.
( I’d assume that the majority of Americans prefer their president to be a top predator rather than a slug, sloth, or deer. )
However, the Democrats are making headway. They have identified the issue:
The Democrats ‘ downward trend, in stark contrast, extends beyond a single vote. Republicans have gained popularity with voting subscription for decades. Liberals are increasingly seen as the gathering of college-educated leaders, the supporters of a political and economic structure that most Americans believe is failing them, and working-class voters of all races have been consistently drifting toward the G. O. P.
” Over a long period of time, our party overrodrew our trust account with the American people,” said Rob Flaherty, who served as Kamala Harris ‘ deputy campaign manager last year. [emphasis added]

Ah, but that’s it: Voters from the working class.
In 2024, all the communities Democrats had come to rely on for a century or more — fresh people, Black voters, Latinos, veered sharply in the direction of the right, some of them quickly. And unlike Mr. Trump’s defeat next year, which was won by him in the first place, his victory could not be dismissed as an anomaly.
The entire nation has dramatically shifted to the right. In the final count, Mr. Trump won nearly equal parts of the vote in Arizona ( 52.2 % ) and Ms. Harris won in the ostensibly safe state of New Jersey ( 52 % ).
Show me how the Democrats did approach these working-class citizens.
Democratic donors and strategists have been meeting at high-end hotels for the past few months to explain how to woo up working-class voters and commissioning new projects that you examine like anthropological studies of people from far away. [emphasis added]
gathering in upscale hotels (! ) You nearly have to tip your hat at the boldness because discussing how to get up working-class voters is so very on-brand for the Democrats. Well done, people!
” No gain, no pity,” I suppose.
And you’ll always be able to think who the liberal donors are currently stealing money from:
The Times obtained a new$ 20 million effort’s proposal, which aims to change young men’s declining Democratic support, particularly online. SAM, short for” Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan,” is the code-name for the initiative, which promises to invest in” studying the grammar, language, and content that attracts attention and popularity in these spots.” It advises, among other things, to purchase adverts for video games.
It urges,” Above all, we may change from a preachy voice.”

The fact that the Dems needed a$ 20 million program to learn how to talk to young people, complete with phrases and a” language review,” speaks for itself.
Young men were chased away by their policies rather than their “moralizing voice.” ” Some people have penises,” among other phrases. The Democrats aren’t a musical move ahead from recapturing the brothers.” If you didn’t sleep with them, you’re misogynistic,” and” Not Wanting to Deadline a Trans Person is Transphobic” certainly don’t help.
While the Dems are also donating money ($ 45 million )! They should definitely stop and consider how the unique Joe Rogan escaped from them when they find the “next Joe Rogan.” After all, Rogan again endorsed Bernie Sanders and is a true pro-choice, pro-marijuana, and pro-gay rights supporter. The Dems ought to have been able to at least compete for Rogan’s voting based on worldview.
But you’re aware of Rogan’s shortcomings? A elk, a monkey, or a slug.
Young people aren’t really that enigmatic. ( Believe me on this. ) At least 90 % of our emotions are centered on sex, food, sports, sex, friends, gender, supervillain movies, and gender. ( Also: sex. )
However, young men are mature enough to realize that being the prey is far more important than being the victim.
However, bad David Hogg is being fired from the Democratic National Committee for saying,” Young people should be able to concentrate on… how to get laid and how to go and have fun.”

Uh oh oh. Better percentage an additional$ 20 million “anthropological review” to get to the bottom of the matter.
