Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, is “playing with hearth,” according to US President Donald Trump, who slams stalled peace deals and Russian attacks on Ukraine. Vladimir Putin doesn’t know that, if it weren’t for him, there would have been many truly bad things happening to Russia, and I mean REALLY negative things, Trump wrote in a blog on his Truth Social software on Tuesday. He’s playing with fire,” he continued, but rumors from The Wall Street Journal and CNN suggest that the White House is considering imposing new sanctions on Moscow as soon as this year. Trump’s most recent remarks come just weeks after he criticized Putin for being “CRAZY” in response to Russia’s record-breaking drone attack over the weekend, which resulted in the deaths of at least 13 individuals. Vladimir Putin of Russia and I’ve always had a really positive relation, but something happened to him. He has become “absolutely crazy”! Trump tweeted on Sunday nights. Trump stated that he was considering imposing additional sanctions on Moscow after Russia launched the large aerial assault on Ukraine. In what Ukrainian officials have called the largest air strike since the war started, Russia fired 367 robots and weapons at locations throughout Ukraine, including the capital, Kyiv, according to Reuters. The president’s tone is renowned for a change from his generally soft stance toward the Soviet leader. He had previously frequently praised Putin and criticized him in public. However, these feelings appear to be weakened by growing ire over Russia’s position in the continued peace talks with Ukraine. Trump told investigators on Sunday that, despite recent telephone calls between the two officials, he was “absolutely” considering putting more sanctions on Moscow. Trump claimed that Putin had agreed to “immediately” begin discussions over a peace during the visit. But, Moscow hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. Russian officials claimed on Tuesday that Ukraine was trying to “disrupt” peace efforts and that recent flying detonations were retribution for Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian citizens.
