More than a year after their brave leave, three more individuals who escaped from a New Orleans prison earlier this month were detained on Monday in individual states. One of the people was detained in Baton Rouge, according to Louisiana State Police, while the other two were detained in Walker County, Texas, according to a report on X. Two individuals are still at large, according to AP, and police have not provided any additional information regarding Monday’s arrests. The prisoners made it to the day on May 16 by yanking opened a broken mobile phone door, squeezing through a hole behind a toilet, climbing a barbed-wire fence, and disappearing into the darkness. Their presence wasn’t noticed until the following night during a regular staff. With the slogan” To Easy LoL” scrawled on the walls with an arrow pointing to the exit way, graffiti left behind mocked the hospital’s security problems. Lenton Vanburen, Leo Tate, and Jermaine Donald have been identified as the most just seized prisoners. Dkenan Dennis, Corey Boyd, Gary C. Price, Kendell Myles, and Robert Moody had already been remanded in captivity. The majority of the escapees were awaiting test or punishment and were facing significant charges, including murder. A prison repair employee was detained following the escape after being accused of turning off the toilet’s water supply, a practice that investigators claim helped to facilitate the jailbreak. The employee claimed to have been threatened by one of the prisoners to the police. Also, four additional people have been detained for allegedly helping the escapees while they were on the move.
