Oh, the Hypocrisy: Leftist Leaders Condemn the D.C. Jewish Museum Murders

Hakeem Jeffries is shocked! frightened! — that this is where it is now. After the zealous leftist Jacob Rodriguez murdered two Israeli Embassy employees outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., Jeffries issued a statement outlining his disgust with this heinous act of violence. Can this be taken seriously in illumination of his other remarks, though? In the midst of this most recent outbreak of communist anger, Jeffries isn’t the only one who appears dishonest.

On Thursday, Jeffries (D-Orange Man Bad ) released a statement that was jam-packed with everything the employee who wrote it expected to say on such occasions:    

I am horrified by the fatal racist action that took place at a gathering at the Capital Jewish Museum. As we wait for more information, it is obvious that too many of our Hebrew brothers and sisters have legitimate concerns about their security in this nation simply because of their faith. Antisemitism has no position in our country, and it must be immediately sown by people of kindness all over America and around the world. Our thoughts are with the victims and all those who have been the victims of this dreadful attack, and we sincerely pray for the loved ones of the murdered Israeli embassy staff. In this crucial time of need, America may be steadfastly with the Jewish group.

Hey, Hakeem, that’s stretch, actually. However, some concerns remain. After all, Jeffries was one of the many people who took Hamas ‘ victim figures and statements of Israeli crimes literally on April 8, 2024. His obscene statement on that day read,” Hamas may be decisively defeated so that the crimes that occurred on October 7 always repeat” and that the hostages are properly brought back home. It is also crucial that Israel pursues the battle against Hamas with absolute caution in a way that significantly reduces the risk that honest Arab citizens and humanitarian relief workers are killed or harmed in any way. The devastation and distressing deaths of thousands of Arab women, children, and civilians occurred over the past six months. The Army is required to perform itself at all times in strict compliance with international law of war. That effectively gave the impression that it wasn’t now doing so. &nbsp,

We are going to battle it lawfully, Jeffries also infamously said a few years ago about the “extreme MAGA Republican agenda.” In the judges, we will contest it. We’ll engage in street fighting. Would he like his soldiers to protest Israel’s alleged violations of international law of battle in the streets? None of his friends would have had to struggle to understand that plan.

Not just Jeffries, either. Rodriguez’s attack has also reportedly been condemned by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-Grillmaster ). But, it should be kept in mind that Schumer referred to “radical right-wing Israelis” and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “obstacles to serenity” in April 2024. He asserted that Netanyahu “won’t commit to a martial activity in Rafah that emphasizes protecting human life.” He won’t be able to speak openly about a “day-after” strategy for Gaza and a longer-term path to peace.

In 2020, Schumer made the same remarks as Jeffries about a need for violence when he criticizes the pro-life stances of Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh:” You have released the storm and you will pay the price. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that some Schumer admirers may believe that “radical right-wing Israelis” have likewise “released the storm” and really “pay the cost”?

Additionally, there is Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the country’s darling (D-Would You Like An Olive ). Everything genuinely justifies the murder of innocent people, writes he on Thursday. The death of two individuals occurred at an @AJCGlobal event in Washington, and I am devastated about it. All those who have been impacted by this are in our thoughts and prayers. As we wait for more information, it must be obvious that anger has no place in this country. Antisemitism threatens everything that we as a nation value. It must be confronted and rooted out all over.”

On the other hand, AOC horizontally opened the door to explanation for the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, saying:” This is not to suggest that an act of violence is justified, but I think for anyone who is confused, shocked, or appalled, they need to know that people view, feeling, and practice denied claims as an act of violence against them. AOC has also been a vehement critique of Israel. Any of her many supporters may come to the conclusion that it is appropriate for them to launch a real attack on Israel’s enemies and its supporters.

The remaining wants it both way, as there are many other fields. Leftist leaders consistently defend violence, but later deny responsibility when it really starts to escalate. However, the reality is that once it gains strength, the left will always be in control of it. The American left evidently differs from its innovative ancestors in the Soviet, Chinese, Vietnamese, and French. There will be many more Elias Rodriguezes, that is one thing for sure.
