Todd and Julie Chrisley, the reality TV partners, may be pardoned by President Donald Trump as part of his most recent clemency plan to assist those who have been found guilty of extortion, theft, and fraud.

The couple was charged with banks scam and tax evasion in 2019 and found guilty in 2022. Julie Chrisley received a sentence of seven years in prison while Todd Chrisley received a sentence of 12 times. On Tuesday, Trump gave the appearance of granting all clemency to the original Chrisley Knows Best stars.

Savannah Chrisley, who earlier this year pushed for her kids ‘ release from prison at&nbsp, the Conservative Political Action Conference, and the White House, said in a movie post,” Your kids are going to be free and clear, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow.”

Democrats are debating Trump’s subsequent pardons of Paul Walczak, a former care home professional who pleaded guilty to tax crimes, and Scott Jenkins, a former sheriff of Virginia and Maryland, who were both recently found guilty of bribery.

Trump’s clemency of the two people and the Chrisleys come as he has pushed congressional Republicans to build inquiries into former president Joe Biden’s use of an autopen to carry out clemency and another political business in an effort to overturn his counterpart’s mercy decisions.

After Trump defended his clemency, Democrats quickly pointed to Trump’s behavior as another admitted example of corruption.

In a statement announcing the forgive, Trump wrote on social media that” Sheriff Scott Jenkins, his family Patricia, and their family have been dragged through hell by a crooked and armed biden DOJ.”

After being found guilty of using a” cash-for-badges” scheme to steal more than$ 75, 000 in bribes, Jenkins was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison in March.

Elizabeth Fago, Walczak’s mother, has been invited to a$ 1 million Trump fundraiser last month and has raised millions for the president’s campaigns, according to the New York Times.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin wrote in response to the arrest of” this guy went to jail for screwing up nurses and doctors at his nursing homes—taking$ 10 million from their paychecks to buy a yacht.” His mother attends a$ 1 million per person Mar-a-Lago fundraiser, and he is now pardoned. Trump cares about these individuals. Never you”.

Fago and her daughter were even involved in a Justice Department investigation into the public release of Ashley Biden’s book to derail her husband’s 2020 presidential campaign. In the analysis, neither female was charged or found guilty.

The original sheriff of Culpeper County, Jenkins, was likewise unambiguous in their attacks on Virginia Democratic candidates.

Democratic presidential candidate Abigail Spanberger wrote on social media that” Scott Jenkins was in a position of public confidence and he broke the law.” He “abused his authority, abused his vow, committed numerous federal crimes, and was held responsible for his atrocities,” the statement read.

The leader simply pardoned him in an insult to the law enforcement officials who investigated this situation and keep themselves to the highest ethical standards every day, Spanberger continued.

One of the few Virginia Democratic lieutenant governor individuals, Victor Salgado, referred to Jenkins as” a violent person” in a statement that condemned Trump’s actions.

President Trump once more used the incredible power of the Pardon Section to defend adjudicated thieves, Salgado claimed.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA ) referred to the pardon of Jenkins as” a slap in the face to every American taxpayer and every person working hard to earn a living.”

In recent months, Trump has focused focus on Biden’s use of an autopen as his mental and physical health has declined. He accused Biden’s supporters of effectively running the show and using him to reportedly carry out a progressive agenda.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is directing the investigation into the former president’s usage of autopens and has requested that Biden’s doctors testify before the council.
