After a trans athlete competed in the adult track and field position finals, President Donald Trump threatened to withhold federal money from California on Tuesday.
Trump promised to speak with the governor. On Tuesday, Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA ) addressed the governor of California who recently called it “unfair” to allow biological males to compete in female sports.
Trump claimed in a Truth Social post that the state’s leaders ‘ permission to the 16-year-old trans athlete to compete in the state record event was” completely demeaning to women and women.”
” California continues ILLEGALLY allow’MEN TO PLAY IN WOMEN’S SPORTS,” Trump wrote in a statement. A transitioned male athlete won “everything,” and is now qualified to engage in the” State Finals” next weekend at a major event. He was a subpar supplier because he was a man. This transitioned woman is nearly unbeatable as a woman.
After Newsom called it “deeply harsh” for biological men to engage in female sports on his radio in March, critics began to voice concerns about the transgender swimmer competing in the adult category.

In February, Trump signed an executive order outlawing natural male athletes from competing in sexual activities. His leadership has been implementing Title IX civil rights laws based on biological sex rather than female personality. Instead of having female-exclusive activities, the state is interpreting regulations that mandate that genders compete against trans athletes as Title IX transgressions.

Due to similar practices, the government withheld funding from Maine and frozen millions of dollars in revenue from the University of Pennsylvania.
