Keith Kellogg, the White House special envoy to Ukraine, claimed on Tuesday that Donald Trump is the “only man” capable of bringing Russia and Ukraine to peace, implying that the issue of putting an end to the conflict boils down to “negotiation.”
Trump has expressed his frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying that he is” not happy” with the country’s recent large-scale missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. According to Kelly, a retired colonel colonel in the U.S. Army, Trump’s ire toward Putin is “understandable.” He described Russia’s attack on Kyiv as a” clear contravention” of the 1977 Geneva Protocol, which was intended to stop “indiscriminate killing” of citizens.
” Of course, we think it’s a good idea because neither side really likes it,” we said. On Fox News ‘ Fox &, Friends, Kellogg said,” I think you make progress when both sides don’t like it.” We’re reasonably assured that, and I believe he needs to keep working at it when you ask what he needs to accomplish. I am aware of this, but President Trump is the only person who can do this. That is what I firmly believe.
Kellogg continued,” It’s not going to get easy.” Negotiations are not simple, but there is nowhere for a war to end without the use of violence or the shooting of soldiers on either side, and it will come down to negotiation, which is where you must be.
Regarding what needs to happen next, Kellogg claimed that the Russians have been working on a “memorandum,” which he explained is a “term plate” on what Russia wants for peace. According to Kogg, the United States has now agreed to Ukraine’s conditions for peace, and the next step would be to combine them with Russia’s in order to achieve peace between the two nations.
WAR IN UKRAINE TAKES A DEADLY TURN AS TRUMP Pollutants
Russian friends in Ukraine have lifted regulations on the country’s ability to launch long-range rockets against Russia following its attack on Kyiv. Since the conflict broke out in February 2022, Europe has been supporting Ukraine’s official use of these weapons.  ,
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA ) wrote on X that he had “had enuf” of Putin killing innocent people on Monday and that he had urged Trump to take action against Russia in the wake of its most recent attack on Ukraine. Trump stated on Sunday that he would “absolutely” consider imposing sanctions on Russia.
