
After President Donald Trump granted her parents ‘ long sentences for scams and tax evasion, Savannah Chrisley, the girl of pardons/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener” title=”reality TV”>reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, thanked him for his entire clemency.
Savannah, 27, revealed the information to her 2.9 million fans in a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that Trump had actually called and called to let her know.
Todd and Julie Chrisley, who are best known for their popular USA Network set Chrisley Knows Best, were found guilty in 2022 of conspiring to commit bank fraud, line forgery, and tax avoidance. Julie received a seven-year word while Todd was given a 12-year word. Additionally, both were required to pay$ 17.8 million in restitution and offer 16 weeks of supervision.
Savannah, who has been an outspoken advocate for her kids since their views, said the pardons represent a new beginning.
My parents are given the opportunity to begin their lives around. President Trump didn’t really commute their sentences; he also granted them a full, unequivocal pardon. I will always be grateful for that, she said.
Savannah described her talk with Trump in an interview on NewsNation’s On Balance and described a remarkable incident from the telephone.
She continued,” He said,” You guys don’t look like terrorists to me,” adding that Trump viewed the couple’s treatment as unfair. He believed that their words were absurd and that he wanted to completely clear their names. He wanted to do more than just ride them.
In recent months, Savannah also spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention in an effort to highlight what she called a “gross miscarriage of justice.” Earlier reports claim that the Chrisley household had apparently appealed to the Trump administration for assistance.
She acknowledged that the phone caught her off watch in an ABC News meeting.
” I sort of had lost trust by the time I reached that place. Therefore I received the call. She said it was all really a shock. He is” the cause my home is reuniting,” he says.
Savannah also pledged to support Trump as he continues to criticize what he claims is common problem in the righteousness program.
In her Instagram video, she said,” I swear to stand next to you. ” We’re going to expose corruption and bring justice to countless others who have been found guilty indecently,” the statement read.
Federal charges against The Chrisleys stemmed from false bank loan programs and falsified financial records dating again as far as 2007 were brought against them.
