After a Kansas guy grabbed a flight attendant and assaulted him, American Airlines issued an emergency mid-air and had to move the plane up. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, and the Kansas person, who has a history of criminal activity, is currently facing federal charges. Julius Jordan Priester, 24, was accused of berating journey staff and serving time, which could lead to a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Around 10 am, or 30 minutes into the one-hour journey, Priester began acting wildly on the plane, according to a media release from the US prosecutor’s office in Connecticut. Priorer yelled” Support me!” and took off his shirt before heading toward the back of the plane. Then he yelled,” You are coming with me,” and grabbed a flight attendant by the top shirt before forcing them to the surface. He was attempting to stop him, but he continued to dangling the aircraft operator up the aisle. He became anxious and started speaking incessantly as a result of other people pushing him up to his desk. The flight was diverted to Bradley Airport in Connecticut, where it started, after the commander declared an emergency. According to the prosecution, Connecticut State Police removed Priester from the plane and transported him to a doctor for review. According to the petition, he was taken into custody at the doctor. According to a statement from American Airlines,” On May 27, American Eagle flight 3359, operated by Envoy, with service from Hartford ( BDL ) to Chicago ( ORD), returned to BDL due to a disruptive customer.” We do not survive crime, and we thank our employees for their diligence and for helping our clients.
