Indian-origin Anjali Sud elected to Harvard Board amid clash with Trump, will replace Canada PM Mark Carney
Anjali Sud, an Indian-born native, has been chosen to the Harvard Board.

The board of directors at Harvard University elected Anjali Sud, the Indian-American CEO of Tubi, the streaming software. She would succeed Mark Carney, who resigned from Harvard Board on March 9 after being elected Democratic Party chief. Harvard and the Donald Trump administration are at odds with one another because they refused to comply with their demands, and Harvard then faces losing its programme for international students who study abroad. The management sought the records of international students who have participated in campus protests, violence, etc. as part of its crackdown on foreign students. The management canceled its foreign student exchange programs because the school refused to do so. The university sued the administration and obtained a temporary stay of the program’s global restrictions. Sanjay Seth, a fellow Harvard Alumni Association student of another race, has been elected as one of the board members. On May 30, Seth will commence his three-year name with the HAA plank, while Sud will take over her position on the board of overseers on July 1.

    Anjali Sud: Who is she?

Anjali Sud was born in Detroit to Punjabi parents, and grew up in Michigan. The Harvard vote site described her as” an influential tech and media professional who has served since 2023 as CEO of Tubi, a free TV and video streaming services with almost 100 million monthly active users.” Sud was named one of Fortune’s” 40 Under 40″ after serving as CEO of Vimeo. She currently resides in New York. My kids immigrated to this nation to help me realize the American Dream. I was able to fulfill that desire by putting forth a revolutionary training for the next generation. In a time of philosophical change, Harvard has both the opportunity and the obligation to define the future of higher learning. I may be honored to assist Harvard in navigating that change and facilitating artistic transformation, she said before the election.
