LinkedIn co-founder slammed for his reaction to Trump halting student visas: 'We've completely forgotten how...'
Trump’s determination to halt all visa interviews for the time being was criticized by Reid Hoffman.

Reid Hoffman, a co-founder of Linked In, was criticized on social media for his response to the US government’s decision to temporarily halt all immigration interviews for the time being. Reid Hoffman lamented the determination and claimed America forgot how it prospered, even though the state department claimed that it had taken the decision to expand the social media screening of card applicants. Hoffman wrote this in response to another article that had opinions on the choice. ” Blowing a$ 50 billion hole in every top private university in America’s top state flagship” The crown jewel of American sweet power was shot to the head of the world’s best educational program. Overall madness,” the post said. ” However, the facts. Different nations are stepping up to fill the void and find best ability. We’ve entirely forgotten how prosperous America was,” Hoffman wrote. Social media users pointed out how his LinkedIn relies on H-1B card applications and that America First is completely irrelevant. One wrote,” America prospered because it was 90 % Light.” ” Livingston needs a steady stream of appreciative, trustworthy workers who won’t criticize the program but rather help users navigate his application. Another article attempted to rudely learn between Hoffman’s effect, saying,” I only care about money and don’t care how this hurts Americans.” Reid only cares about this because importing ( indentured ) talent keeps wages low; it’s economic warfare against American citizens, which Reid despises, according to one article. Hoffman simply doesn’t want to promote National talent because there is no shortage of it. He gains from less expensive, visa-tied overseas labor. Over 60 % of H-1B positions are certified for salaries below the national median. It’s about lowering costs, no inciting development. H-1B, the applications that US companies can use to hire experienced foreigners, is supported by Reid Hoffman. He has been making this desire for a long time, calling on the Obama administration to reduce the helmet on H-1B permits and encourage more foreign employees.
