Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have settled in California as their home since leaving the imperial family in 2020, but their neighbors claim they have no interest in joining the neighborhood. While the Duke of Sussex is renowned for being warm and friendly, his partner has kept a little lower status, according to Richard Mineards, a local blogger. According to Mineards, Markle reportedly turned down an old native scholar who wanted to give her a backup of his film about the area. The journalist compared Markle’s distant view to that of other Montecito native Oprah Winfrey, who is well-known for her apparent presence at charity events, saying,” The old gentleman never got past the gate.” Since the couple bought their$ 14 million home, which has since doubled in value, Meghan has largely disappeared from her neighbors ‘ radar, according to Mineards. She’s that, of course, but she doesn’t really show off. Her connection with Montecito is “distant, may we say,” he said, adding that the former actress has been able to” create a very controlled picture” of herself. She “pays attention to every look, every expression, every gesture,” according to the New York Post. In the meantime, Mineards described Prince Harry, 40, as “always lovely, friendly, and with that really recognized Windsor accent.” He claimed that the duke “has retained his excellent hearted side.” He “grows, shakes hands, and easily markets a dozen words,” the reporter continued, noting that many locals have seen Harry traveling, whether at the beach, at an organic coffee shop, or riding in the local hills with his protection following in a Range Rover.
