Americans have refuted claims that faith is robbing our culture and schools of division, isolation, and inequality. Parents in favor of girls-only bag rooms and their hard-won Title IX sports rejected communist gender ideology, critical race theory, and sexuality in our classrooms. However, the conflict is not certain to be won.

We must consider how we got to where we are right now in order to maintain our traditional ( read, Christian ) values. The fierce battles for our children’s minds and hearts are still ongoing inside our schools, despite the small victories we have won against Bud Lights and Targets.
A Times article about the 2024 National Assessment of Educational Progress ( the Nation’s Report Card ) stated that” for the first time, a third of eighth-grade students scored below basic reading, implying that they lack the ability to draw simple inferences and interpretations about a text. In the last 32 years, students with lower reading scores received the worst reading scores. ( The author’s ) ( Italics ). However, children are taught in schools that removing body parts will somehow give them a sense of wholeness.
We currently spend more per student than almost any other nation to achieve these abhorrent outcomes. Why, as the world races past us, are we fighting to keep such a spectacularly failing institution intact?
because we have been taught that education is good. That’s the resounding refrain we all ingested during our own K-12 training, or 16 000 hours. Our schools have successfully transformed us into submission, servitude, and steadfastness, according to some saying it takes 10,000 hours to mastery. like a new faith. the religion in the classroom.
It’s almost unthinkable to disagree with the efficacy or validity of our factory schools and teachers because we all learned to trust the experts and educators-as-high-priests in schools.

Schools have catechized us in college preparation and career readiness ( read: financial success ) for decades. The God of the Bible and The Golden Rule were replaced by Money and Darwinism ( survival of the fittest ) in this new creed. America once praised self-assuredness, independence, self-sacrifice, entrepreneurship, and innovation, but today it praises money with an emphasis on self-esteem, standardization, institutions, and careers. Character development was hampered by economic endeavors, which promoted delayed family development. This diminished the value of the family, friends, and community. And money is incredibly important in our culture right now. It is the new god that is adored everywhere, in music, media, and the media. Even Speaker Mike Johnson “has sympathy” for lawmakers who use insider trading and break the law. Success and money are now woven together like two beams of a crucifix.
Despite the most obvious dangers, it’s no wonder parents will happily sacrifice their kids for the school’s altar. Save the schools, or my child won’t be successful!
Their dogmatic faith in that sacred fiction has recently, finally, dislodged, and we can ( and should ) criticize our schools because they saw the perverse nature of our school/religion, the pornography, abysmal academic performance, and abject ignorance about what’s true.
Marxist principles of the teacher’s unions directly conflict with American values, but with their market dominance, they can afford to ignore our condemnation. Second motivations they have to maintain their institutions are to instill that evil doctrine in impressionable minds. Of course, their main concern is money.

We are currently competing to see who can get the culture right first, but if we continue to indoctrinate our children, we will soon reach the point where our own children can reject the Second Amendment in favor of a surveillance state. They will illogically” choose safety over freedom and neither” have. ( HT: Ben Franklin. ) And while laws may refute the Marxist axiom, ideological teachers don’t follow the law. In that way, religion is funny.
The outlook is uncertain, and fundamental change is the only way to prosper. In light of this, Trump’s proffered tax credits for families with children who are in school provide a viable solution. Giving private school options more government funding ( and oversight ) only serves to expand the governmental reach, which is what caused us to get into this mess in the first place. Government has always clashed with religion. Without the constraints of government coercion, which has become the failed model of our schools, tax credits might give parents more freedom to raise and educate their children.
Reverting to first principles, i .e. training the student to teach himself, is the most radical idea in education. Before we started our modern factory school experiment, education worked in this manner. It is how the founders of our representational republic, those autodidacts who are still under the radar of so few people, got their education.
Parents should be the first to understand that it doesn’t take an “expert” to train a child to become an adult. The majority of parents have values to impart to their children and are smarter than their children’s teachers. The academic performance of the homeschooled child is independent of the parent’s level of education. In the end, all wisdom is self-taught or left untaught, and children need wisdom more than they need to study math, memorize dates, or study lubrication and same-sex attraction.

Parents want a better future for their children’s futures and their families, and home education provides that, but only by remaining free of governmental interference and the pursuit of wealth. Many parents still feel enslaved to the system and its past self-proclaimed glory, and they blindly follow the Jonestown settlers.
Independent parents choose to educate their children at home rather than foster in them a love of truth, appreciation for wisdom, and the pursuit of freedom, as well as reject the cult of our contemporary schools.
Editor’s Note: President Trump is attempting to demolish the Department of Education to ensure that all children in America receive the education they deserve.
