Before their aircraft has stopped tying, passengers on flights to Turkiye who unbuckle their seats belt, enter an aisle, or empty overhead compartments are subject to fines under new rules passed by the nation’s civil aviation authority. Professional airlines operating in Turkiye are required to update their common in-flight presentations, which require people to be seated with seat belt fastened until the plane has reached a gate or another last stopping place. Additionally, the presentations will need to tell passengers to let those in the rows ahead of them leave first. Rule-breakers could face fines of up to$ 70, according to media reports.
