Twenty-two young Americans filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration on Thursday, alleging that their underlying rights to life and liberty have been violated by executive orders that would grow fossil fuel production and repeal weather protections. In their complaint, the plaintiffs named President Trump and several national authorities, mostly those who are from Montana, where the case was filed in federal court. The case involves executive orders that “unleash American power” and “declared a” National Energy Emergency” and slowed oil, gas, and coal removal on public lands while preventing fresh energy projects. It contends that the management has unfairly restricted access to national climate science. These young people are voicing their opposition to the professional purchases because they violate their freedoms, security, and health, according to a lawyer for the cause-bringing organization.
