Who knew that fraud and deception does occur in welfare systems? Five other people have been accused in a large meal mark fraud and corruption scandal, including a former USDA employee.

Federal government security has a natural communist and anti-American bias ( the Founders undoubtedly believed it ), and it has a tendency to be corrupt, rights, and abuse. We’ve all likely seen people buying foods with food stamps, but Arlasa Davis and her co-defendants took scam to a whole new, profitable levels. In reality, they committed one of the biggest food stamp crooks always to occur in the United States.

A USDA staff among others was among the BREAKING in a$ 66 MILLION food stamp fraud program!

Arlasa Davis, a USDA employee charged with identifying SNAP fraud, allegedly SOLD hundreds of EBT numbers that allowed more than$ 36 million in phony SNAP redemptions at unauthorized… twitter.com/zqdWp7EdyR

In connection with tens of millions of dollars in unauthorized transactions involving the food stamp program, the Department of Justice ( DOJ) released a press release on May 29 announcing charges against six individuals, one of whom ( Davis ) was a former federal employee. The charges have been brought by DOJ, FBI, and USDA.

A superseding indictment charg]es six people in connection with a massive fraud and bribery scheme that resulted in more than$ 66 million in unauthorised purchases through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program ( “SNAP” ), also known as food stamps. One of the biggest food stamp crooks in U.S. record is this. The defendants, including Michael KEHOE, Mohammad NAWAFLEH, OMAR ALRAWASHDEH, GAMAL OBAID, EMAD ALRAWASHDEH, and ARLASA DAVIS, face conspiracy to steal government funds and, among other things, evade the United States Department of Agriculture ( USDA ) benefits. Also, DAVIS, a USDA worker, is accused of bribery and trustworthy services fraud. &nbsp,

Perry Carbonne, a U.S. lawyer, described how Davis contributed to the remarkable fraud scheme. ” The USDA staff Arlasa Davis betrayed the public by selling classified information to the very thieves she was supposed to catch,” Davis said. Their actions undermined a plan that prone New Yorkers rely on for simple nutrition, according to Carbonne.

Further details about Davis ‘ sharing of the sensitive data were provided by FBI Assistant Director in Charge Christopher G. Raia. Arlasa Davis, a USDA individual, is alleged to possess abused her place and privileged access to classified government data to aid her co-conspirators in swindling the SNAP system, causing tens of millions of dollars in fraudulent purchases.

Sometimes effective systems are abused and misused. And there were times when the systems were bad. With this fraud scheme, I believe we can safely assume that it was a system that was already flawed and used to achieve even worse objectives.
