In Sevier County, Utah, earlier this month, a puppy found the remains of a disfigured human foot inside a foot, prompting authorities to look into whether or not the human bones are connected to a missing persons case from 1997.
The destroyed human feet remains were discovered on May 16 as a man and his canine were walking along the shore of Utah’s Fish Lake, according to Fox 13.
Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis claimed that the dog’s owner noticed what “appeared to be a spine in the foot” after picking up the foot that his dog had discovered.
According to Curtis,” Police responded and discovered the remains of what appeared to be human feet inside the shoe.” The Utah Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the dog’s foot had a dismembered human feet, according to ABC 4.
The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that” no other evidence was found to show where the foot came from,” even though a search was conducted along the shoreline of Utah’s Fish Lake only one day after the human remains were discovered.
According to Fox 13’s report, police have indicated that they believe David M. White, who disappeared while fishing on Fish Lake in September 1997, may be the owner of the human bones. According to the store, White’s body was not discovered by law enforcement.
Deseret News  recently reported that authorities believed White may have fallen into the lake’s center without a life jacket at the time of his disappearance.
Sevier County Sheriff’s Lt. Delbert Lloyd stated to reporters that the lake is strong, and it was too strong for the three fishermen we sent in after a failed attempt to locate White’s missing system. Simply put, it was too gloomy and black.
Police officers have indicated that they have a DNA test from one of White’s babies and are going to have it tested to see if there is a relationship with the base remains that were found, according to Fox 13. According to the store, law enforcement officials have confirmed that there are no other recognized reports of people who are still believed to be missing close to Fish Lake.
