Kurt Muse was freed from a jail in Panama in December 1989 by the Delta Force’s Operation Acid Gambit, according to a report shared on Thursday by Larry Vickers, a veteran of the United States Army and former Delta Force controller.
In a Thursday interview with Shawn Ryan, Vickers explained that Muse’s save as part of Operation Acid Gambit was a risky hostage rescue effort because a prison guard threatened to kill the captive if the US attempted to save him from Panama’s La Comandancia jail. Muse was imprisoned in Panama for leading the opposition to Manuel Noriega, the former tyrant, according to The Army’s site.
A shield informed Kurt that if there was a rescue effort, he would shoot him, according to Vickers. What are you going to accomplish if you ask Kurt, I believe,” Hey, if there’s a recovery effort for me, what are you going to do?” And he says, “I’ll shoot you.”
Vickers continued,” This man was in the place ideal across from Kurt.” So the first thing we needed to do was hit Kurt as quickly as possible. You know, before this person becomes aware of what’s happening, heads over to Kurt’s battery, and kills him.

Vickers shared information about how his team’s” C6 charge” nearly killed him during the podcast interview on Thursday, how the Delta Force Team escaped the creating after guns turned off the facility’s strength, and how they encountered one of the prison guards before arriving at Muse’s area.
He was in a place across when the G crew entered and killed him. Yes, he has a pistol in his possession, Vickers claimed Ryan. If memory serves me correctly, I believe the man was in a bathtub. He was discovered in the bath by the G group. I believe the man grabbed his revolver because he already had one in his hand. They murdered him.
” Yes, Muse has been removed. They included a small package, an aircraft set case, body armor, a helmet, body armor, and a Kevlar helmet. He was peeled out. He did not enter the staircase, Vickers continued. ” Two things,” We rise. We tell him,” Hey, you know, PC secure to get the extraction birds out.” Six Minutes To Freedom is a book called that, you see, from the moment we called, PC Secure, called for EXO, the author’s name was” Six Minutes To Freedom.”
