Although it is not completely clear what precisely happened, we are aware that a potential terrorist attack took place close to Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall. Calls were received from the Boulder police chief claiming a person had a weapon and was setting people on fire in a group. He claims that there are numerous sufferers who have been injured or burned, and that an unidentified man is now being detained. The man was taken without event.  ,  ,
In Boulder, Colorado, police chief Steve Redfearn claims a suspect is in custody after some persons were” set on fire” during an attack. When an explosive system was thrown at them, victims were walking to increase awareness of victims who were still in Gaza, according to Boulder JCC. @livenowfox photo twitter.com/t3SrqslwQN— Josh Breslow ( @JoshBreslowTV ) June 1, 2025
This is apparently the man in question: Â

The police chief claimed that he had no idea whether this was a qualified attack, but that the FBI does believe it to be true. However, the crowd gathered was apparently a part of the” Run for Their Lives” worldwide walk, a movement where people gather to run or walk and demand that Hamas release victims. Apparently, the combination included children as well. Although we have no information on the number of accidents or whether there were any deaths, some folks have been admitted to the hospital.
This comes just days after the murders of Israel Embassy employees Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim and just days after representatives like Rep. Greg Landsman (D-Ohio ) have spoken out about their fears of more similar violence.  ,
This is a developing tale.  ,  ,
