China “firmly rejected” the “false allegations” that the US and the US violated a deal to lower significant business tariffs between the two financial powerhouses. Both countries had agreed to a 90-day temporary decrease in their astronomically high tariffs following discussions with senior representatives in Geneva next month. However, Howard Lutnick, the US’s commerce minister, claimed Beijing was” slow-rolling the deal.” Beijing responded on Monday by saying that the US “has made phony accusations and unnecessarily accused China of breaking the compromise, which is really contrary to the details.” China’s business ministry issued an official statement saying” China strongly rejects these absurd accusations.” Without providing certain proof, US President Donald Trump claimed last week that China had” completely violated” the deal. The Taiwanese Commerce Ministry asserted that it “has been honest in implementing the consensus and has been strong in protecting its rights and interests.” The US “has continuously implemented a number of unfair restrictive measures against China,” the ministry noted, referring to the ban on the export of AI chips and the withdrawal of Taiwanese student visas. We urge the US to meet China way, soon proper its wrongdoing, and support the consensus reached at the Geneva industry talks, according to the government. In the speech, it was concluded by a proclamation that” China will continue to stubbornly take strong measures to preserve its genuine rights and interests” if the condition continues to be unsettled.
