Google plans to expand its product line in the near future to contain iOS users, despite the fact that the software is now only accessible for Android users at the time of writing.

The Google AI Edge Gallery is an experimental apps that “directly utilizes the power of cutting-edge conceptual AI models,” according to the GitHub store for the AI model.

There are also designs from industry giant like Microsoft, as well as a couple from less well-known brands, so it shouldn’t surprise that the majority of the AI models in the Google AI Edge Gallery were created by various teams at Google.

    • Google: MedGemma-27B, Gemma3-1B, Gemma3-27B, Gemma3-12B, Gemma3-4B, Gemma2-2B, MediaPipe, Gecko-110m
    • Phi-4-mini from Microsoft

paving the way for mobile AI

Although the idea of on-device AI isn’t simply uncommon, it still stands out among contemporary AI models.
