A second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine took place in Istanbul, Turkey, and it failed to bring the two parties closer to an end to the conflict, but it did lay the groundwork for a new change of prisoners.

A Ukrainian official said the Russian committee handed over peace ideas that include giving control of the territory it also holds in four largely held regions.

According to Rustem Umerov, the country’s top mediator and Kyiv’s defense minister, an absolute truce was demanded by Kyiv. According to the president’s aide, Vladimir Medinsky, the mind of the Russian group, Vladimir Medinsky, Russia, in turn, suggested a two to three-day peace along some parts of the front to enable the evacuation of battle dead. Additionally, he said, Moscow also presented a two-part document with the requirements for a continuous peace and serenity deal.

The two ex-Soviet companions made a plan to change all 6, 000 bodies and all seriously injured POWs, including young soldiers under the age of 25. Additionally, Ukraine&nbsp suggested holding another gathering later this month.

The most recent direct peace talks in Istanbul, Turkey, only lasted for about an hour, and they came a day later, Kyiv, Ukraine, carried out one of its boldest aerial attacks inside Russia, destroying long-range planes and other aircraft. The earlier round in the Greek business capital in mid-May came to an end after nearly two hours with no development other than a slave transfer. Only the next time the two conflicting parties have held open talks since the start of the conflict is documented at Monday’s meeting.

Despite decades of prominent attempts by Donald Trump, the president of the United States, and others, who has grown extremely frustrated with the lack of progress, peace is still a distant dream. Moscow has so far rejected a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire and has outlined realist demands to close its invasion, which is now in its fourth year. Trump has resisted threatening to establish more sanctions on Russia, but he has sat down on doing so.

According to Interfax, the Russian demands for natural standing for Ukraine begin a 30-day ceasefire that begins when Ukrainian forces leave areas that , Russia&nbsp, claims are their own, according to the document, citing the document. Moscow’s media company reported that the organization is also requesting that foreign military aid be stopped from being delivered to Kyiv, including knowledge, as well as a stop to conscription and the start of demobilization.

Before a last contract is signed, Moscow&nbsp even wants to see that elections are held in Ukraine&nbsp, according to Interfax.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, reported that the representatives in Istanbul and Istanbul agreed to a new prisoner transfer of 1,000 from each side. A further transfer of 200 folks from each area might be an opportunity, he said in&nbsp, Vilnius, because it also seeks the transfer of political prisoners and editors.

A top aide to Zelenskyy, &nbsp, Andriy Yermak, said on Telegram that Ukraine&nbsp, submitted to&nbsp, Russia&nbsp, during Monday’s speaks a list of abducted children whose returning the land is seeking.

” New restrictions are urgently needed, and if Russia weakens even this initial plan, and the Istanbul conference brings everything, that clearly means strong,” Zelenskyy said at a conference in&nbsp, Vilnius&nbsp, on Monday.

After the discussions were over, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelenskyy, and Trump in either Istanbul or Ankara.

Prior to the conversations with the&nbsp, Russia, the&nbsp, Foreign Ministry&nbsp, in&nbsp, Kyiv&nbsp, two members of the Russian delegation met with members from the&nbsp, UK, &nbsp, Germany, and&nbsp, Italy, according to a statement from the&nbsp, Kyiv&nbsp,

On Sunday, the Russian president revealed details of an attack that targeted proper airfields with uavs hidden in vehicles.

He claimed on the X social media platform that Ukraine and Russia both used 117 robots operating inside and outside of three different time zones, adding that about a fourth of the aircrafts ‘ corporate cruise missile ships were hit.

Russia acknowledged that a dozen aircraft were damaged, in contrast to Kyiv’s state that more than 40 helicopters were hit. According to pro-Moscow&nbsp military journalist Rybar, which has about 1.3 million Telegram clients, 13 aircraft were reportedly damaged, the majority of which were long-range aircraft.

Some of Russia’s more sophisticated weapons, like as cruise missiles, Tu-22 planes, boats, and anti-aircraft sensor, depend on foreign components, making it difficult to replace the destroyed planes due to sanctions.

Additionally, on Sunday, Moscow launched one of its longest drone and missile strikes against Kyiv, which lasted for more than nine days, escalating conflicts ahead of the peace talks.
