Former President Joe Biden criticized President Donald Trump‘s research into him and his advisers ‘ reported cover-up of his mental decline as a “distraction.”
” I made the choices while I was president,” Biden told the Washington Examiner in a statement. I made the decisions regarding the assertions, professional orders, laws, and pardons. Any advice that I didn’t do is absurd and misleading.
According to the memo, Trump’s research, which will be led by White House lawyers David Warrington in cooperation with Attorney General Pam Bondi, will look into whether “certain people conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental condition and unconstitutionally training the authorities and responsibilities of the President,” according to the memo.
The investigation will also examine whether Biden’s aides conspired to fabricate fabricated evidence about the then-president’s abilities and whether his cognitive inability was exposed in video.
According to the memo,” The Counsel to the President shall also look into the circumstances surrounding Biden’s alleged execution of numerous executive actions during his final years in office in consultation with the Attorney General and the head of any other relevant agency.” The policy documents for which the autopen was used, including clemency grants, executive orders, presidential memoranda, or other presidential policy decisions, and ( i ) who ordered that the President’s signature be affixed, should be addressed in this investigation.
Trump’s investigation will be a follow-up to Ed Martin’s independent, Justice Department, inquiry into whether Biden “was competent and whether others were taking advantage of him through use of AutoPen or other means.”
WILL KAREIN JEAN-PIERRE PULL THE BIDEN BEANS?
House and Senate Republicans have launched their own investigations into Biden’s autopen use and whether or not he served as president. This includes Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and former White House aide Dr. KevinO’Connor asking former Biden and other Oversight lawmakers to sit for transcribed interviews.
After the publication of his book, Original Sin, a book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson last month, which details how Biden’s aides protected and shielded the former president from the public and even his own Cabinet members, Biden’s cognitive decline is under renewed scrutiny.
