Over the past two weeks, The College Fix has contact Kane, the director of the medical system, and Texas Wesleyan’s media relations department to inquire about the vaccination requirement and verification of the e-mail that Bowden shared. neither responded to the comments made.
Bowden even did not respond to a request for comment from The Fix and email informing him of her reasons against the authority for COVID vaccines. Americans for Health Freedom, a group of doctors and scientists who have expressed concerns about the COVID-19 vaccination, was founded by Bowden. The organization supports “individual privileges and autonomy in health decision-making” and opposes health mandates.

The department argued that a parent’s decision to want their healthy child to be vaccinated should be based on informed consent obtained from their healthcare provider.
