Russia’s accusations of “playing ugly games” after over Russian missile and bomb attacks on Kharkiv resulted in three fatalities and 22 injuries on Saturday were denied by Ukraine, which had denied the allegations. Separately, Russian leaders reported that two people were hurt by a Ukrainian drone strike in the Moscow area. The two sides agreed to exchange more captives and transfer the body of 12, 000 dead men during a second round of peace talks in Istanbul on Monday. Vladimir Medinsky, a Kremlin secretary, claimed on Saturday that Kyiv had unavoidably delayed the marketplaces continuously. Andriy Kovalenko, a representative from the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council, said Moscow may stop “playing filthy games” and returning to productive work. Russian forces attacked military targets in Ukraine immediately using high-speed, long-range weapons and drones, according to Russia’s defense ministry, hitting all of them. One of the largest cities in Ukraine, Kharkiv, is just a few hundred kilometers from the Belarusian border, and it has seen numerous Russian shelling during the past three years of the conflict, which was sparked by Russia’s full-scale invasion. Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated earlier on Saturday in a blog on Telegram that” Kharkiv is already experiencing the most effective attack since the start of the full-scale war.” He claimed that domestic buildings, educational facilities, and other infrastructure assets were targeted, and photos showed buildings being burned and half reduced to rubble as rescuers carried the injured away for treatment. Around 10 % of Russia’s proper bomber fleet was likely to be damaged by a Ukrainian drone attack that occurred deep inside Russian country last weekend, and some of the plane were also hit. epa
