‘His heart is in the right place’: Vance defends Musk calling him emotional, says Trump’s response measured
JD Vance and Theo Von during an interview ( Screen grab from X @VP ).

US vice chairman JD Vance compared the Tesla CEO’s recent rants to be personal but well-intentioned in an effort to lessen the growing conflicts between US President Donald Trump and tycoon, Elon Musk. Vance praised Musk for saying,” I think his heart is in the right area… in the right location, man,” in an interview with artist Theo Von that was released on Friday. I do”. He continued,” I believe he entered this for the right reasons.” I believe he’s frustrated. The remarks come as Trump and Musk, who were once shut friends, have a very common disagreement. In recent days, Musk has issued a string of incisive tweets calling for the government’s income and spending plan to be blocked, as well as suggesting impeachment. Additionally, Mussk asserted that the state was keeping secrets about Trump’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein, unconfirmed. Trump retaliated, threatening to terminate national arrangements for his businesses, including Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX, by branding Musk as “CRAZY.” Appear, it occurs to everyone, Vance said in the discussion. Elon Musk said,” I flew off the handle much worse than he did in the last 24 days.” He added that Trump had handled criticism with caution, claiming that the president didn’t want to “blood feud” because he thought some of the problems were cruel. Vance said,” I truly believe that everything would be fine if Elon chilled out a little bit.” Despite the debate, Vance praised Musk as an “incredible investor” and supported the government’s bill, which Musk had harshly criticized. He claimed that the main objective of the bill was to stretch Trump’s 2017 tax cuts rather than to reduce investing. Vanning even praised Musk’s “department of government performance” initiative, which advocated for large-scale layoffs and spending cuts in federal agencies, and called it “really good.”
