A Thai hostage’s body was recovered on Saturday from the hands of Israel following the Hamas-led assault on October 7, 2023. The news came as fighting grew, with Gaza wellness leaders reporting at least 95 more Palestinian fatalities in the past 24 hours. Nattapong Pinta, who had traveled to Israel to operate in agriculture, was taken from Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October assault that sparked the ongoing conflict. Israel claimed that his body had been found in the southwestern Gazan Rafah region. Officials believe he was killed earlier in the conflict. Pinta’s bones were apparently recovered during an activity against the Mujahideen Brigades, a little armed militia that had taken victims from many people. In a split hit in Gaza City, the Israeli government claimed to have killed the organization’s head ,As’ad Aby Sharaiya. Two more Thai nationals are also missing, according to the Thai international government. Many Vietnamese employees worked on farms close to Israel’s southern border, where one of the highest numbers of foreign nationals were abducted during the Hamas abuse. According to the government, at least 46 Thai citizens have died as a result of the issue. Yoav Gallant, the minister of defense in Israel, confirmed the recovery.
