A Southern California family was recording the wind when lightening struck a residence just feet away on Tuesday when it hit them. When a large bolt of lightning struck a house in the cul-de-sac behind her, Tiffanie Buckner was filming the black sky rolling in. At that precise time, her 6-year-old child Penelope was posing for the camera. A loud break of thunder came out hours afterwards, and the community screamed and ran toward the camera in surprise. The noise was so quiet and fast that Buckner compared it to the original. It was distinct from the typical thunder that simply illuminates the sky.
