On June 4, US President Donald Trump issued a proclamation reviving the travel restrictions from his first name and enforcing a new entry ban for people of 12 nations, including Afghanistan and Iran.

Trump claimed that a travel ban is essential to shield American from terrorist attacks, including the Colorado attack on June 1 where officials claimed an Egyptian national attacked a group of people protesting Israeli hostages held by Hamas members.

The recent terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado, highlights the serious risks that foreign nationals pose to our nation as they enter through the immigration process and those who arrive as momentary visitors and overstay their visa. We don’t like them, Trump declared in a&nbsp game message.

According to authorities, the believe in the Colorado strike, Mohammed Sabry Soliman, threw fire weapons and sprayed burning fuel at the party. There were injuries for fifteen persons. Soliman was in the state improperly after overstaying a tourist visa, according to US Homeland Security.

Trump compared the new travel restrictions to the “powerful go limits” he imposed on a number of predominantly Muslim nations in 2017 soon after his first word. He cited recent violence attacks that took place in Europe in recent years as one of his first-term procedures and a crucial component of preventing key international terrorism attacks on US soil.

Trump remarked,” We will not allow what happened in Europe to occur in America.” ” We cannot allow opened migration from any nation where we cannot securely and reliably vet and screen.”

Burma, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Kuwait are among the nations on the new travel ban, along with Afghanistan and Iran. On June 9, the ban will go into effect at 12:01 a.m., Washington period.

Trump stated in “light of new events” that he had requested from the secretary of state to release him on the status of Egypt’s existing testing and vetting practices to” confirm the adequacy of its present screening and vetting capabilities” despite the fact that the restriction does not apply to travelers from Egypt.

According to the statement, visitors from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela did experience even more restrictions.

Trump stated that he is still” committed to engaging with those nations willing to cooperate to enhance data sharing and personality management processes, and to handle both terrorism-related and public health risks.”

Members of seven predominantly Muslim nations were prohibited from traveling under the travel restrictions that was imposed during his first term: Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen. As a result, there was chaos and confusion at those airports and US airports, where passengers were sometimes prohibited from boarding their planes or detained upon arrival.

Students and faculty as well as experts, travellers, and people visiting friends and loved ones were among the travelers who were affected.

Trump argued that the restrictions was not motivated by anti-Muslim discrimination and was defended on national security grounds. It was revised until a variant was upheld by the Supreme Court in 2018, amid legitimate objections.

The Director of National Intelligence and the departments of State and Homeland Security are required to collect a statement on “hostile behaviour” toward the United States in response to an executive order Trump issued in January. Additionally, the executive order requested that an evaluation of whether access from particular nations posed a threat to national security.
