Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA ) responded to Tom Homan‘s alert on Sunday that obstructing immigration enforcement would result to an arrest of “anybody”, telling the frontier king to come assault him.
” Travel after me. Arrest me. Let’s just get it over with, strong man. I don’t give a damn”, Newsom told NBC News on Sunday nights.
The California governor defended the illegal immigrant community of Los Angeles, which was targeted by U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in a flood of assaults late last year, spurring the violent demonstrations across the city.
Newsom said Homan needs , to left alone the “poor people really trying to live their life”, and insisted that the condition needs to “push up” against the Trump administration, which has sought to control the regulation police reaction to the protests.

Newsom has been essential of the Trump administration’s move to build the National Guard to the place, which he sees as needless given the country’s resources. On Sunday, he claimed President Donald Trump has “manufactured a crisis and is inflaming conditions” as the protests continue into the night.
Earlier on Sunday, he requested that the administration revoke its deployment order, deeming it “unlawful”.
