Cultural Shift? Really? Guess How Many Baseball Teams AREN’T Having a Pride Night

Old Joe Biden and his associates have left the Oval Office. The DEI acronym for” Kamala Harris, the La political candidate” has come to be derided. After taking a nosedive that took several months to recuperate, Bud Light decided to make false woman Dylan Mulvaney the brand’s face. There are numerous other evidence that the sea has turned and that the media’s grip on popular culture in America has been permanently broken. But, you wouldn’t be able to tell from the look of Major League Baseball. &nbsp,

Just one Major League team, the Texas Rangers, is brave enough to keep a Pride Night in 2025, as in past years. The Rangers are perceived in the media as some strange and suspicious outlier, as well as as in previous years, as opposed to a brave group that challenges social norms and promotes the notion that sexual excessive, perversion, and delusion are not really worth celebrating. &nbsp,

The coverage provided by The Fort Worth Star-Telegram was normal. The Rangers had redeemed themselves at least partly for the burial absence of a Pride Night by engaging in the social departed in different ways, but they had previously spoken to their efforts to recommend for and help marginalized groups. &nbsp,

It’s unfortunate that the Star-Telegram didn’t explain how celebrating an ethnic group is somehow similar to celebrating erotic practices. Among these “marginalized organizations” are evidently Hispanics. The Rangers organize style times throughout the year, including HBCU Diamond Day and Hispanic Heritage Night, it stated. See, after all, the Rangers aren’t that awful! &nbsp,

The Texas Rangers ‘ members have responded to questions about their unwillingness to observe Pride Night by making a generous statement to The Star-Telegram that the Rangers had assured the world of their intellectual compliance despite the absence of the required event. They gave details about the different agencies they supported and the initiatives they have taken over the years to make what they call a “welcoming, equitable, and friendly atmosphere for enthusiasts and employees.” Okay, so that’s it. Comrade, the Rangers have already passed the philosophical test! &nbsp,

However, the Red Sox went all out for Pride Night in Boston. The Crimson Hose” continued their history of holding a drag show inside Fenway Park while even welcoming bring kings onto the area for the ceremonial first ball,” according to OutKick’s report on Tuesday. Fans of all ages entered the historic ballpark on Monday night ahead of what was a 10-8 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays and were greeted by a drag show on a stage built right in front of some of the concession stands. As if that weren’t enough,” the Red Sox and their Pride-themed logo on X shared a video of various men performing drag dance for fans before the first pitch of the contest.”

Wow. Before the first pitch, a drag show! How very 2022! The Red Sox’s top dogs aren’t aware that the cultural tide is changing. Don’t they care about the fans who may be offended by bringing this industry into the ballpark and turning it on those who only wanted to watch a baseball game? Don’t the other baseball teams ever consider that their efforts to identify with the cultural left may be causing them to lose more fans than they are gaining?

Perhaps they do, and perhaps they don’t. Although the cultural tide may be changing, Kipling’s proverb still applies: “once you have paid him the Danegeld, you never get rid of the Dane.” If any teams stop having Pride Night now, regardless of whether there is a cultural shift, they will be accused of “homophobia” ( and likely” white supremacy” and “MAGA extremism” ) and be attacked in the media day and night. &nbsp,

Simply put, it isn’t worthwhile. Major League Baseball Pride Nights are still on, at least until the cultural pendulum swings so decisively toward sanity that the teams are subject to far too much cultural pressure to continue. But we’re not even close to that right now. Grab your purses and head to the ballgame, fellas!

The mainstream media hasn’t noticed that the culture is evolving, or even pretends not to have noticed, but at PJ Media, we see it and report on it with unwarranted optimism or persistent pessimism, but in a realistic way. Join PJ Media VIP right away for 60 % off with the code FIGHT!
