I again stood on Dachau, Hitler’s second concentration camp, in the spooky conditions.
Imagine a group of rowdy 15-year-old higher school kids traveling through Germany and Austria for four weeks. We followed the rules set for teens, including our European teacher, Albert” Doc” Kalmar, who was also in charge. We yelled at the Glockenspiel, ordered pints for breakfast, and introduced ourselves to the local women.  ,

Finally, about 40 years after the war, imagine us being stunned into silence by a place where the wicked still lingers like a natural appearance. I can’t think of any words to describe it, which is a bit of a loss for a poet, I must say.
Although I wouldn’t recommend it, I might need it.  ,
Nur wenige months after Hitler gained emergency power following the Reichstag blaze, the Nazis set up Dachau. More than 200, 000 political and religious captives were forced to pass through the walls I would eventually pass through as a visitor over the course of 12 times. 41,500 of them passed away there, many of whom were killed by practices that were too violent to name. The Nazis built a crematorium in 1940, a bleak symbolism of the coming greater evils.
Visit Dachau a proving ground for what they could evade about in plain view.  ,
You should have seen my father’s expression when he discovered that my grandfather had purchased a Mercedes because I’m half-Jewish. No even 35 years after the war, many Jews just didn’t get German. As far as I can recall, no one in the home has been obsessed with the Holocaust or even discussed it. However, having a half-Jewish post education gave me a little appreciation for what transpired and why the Holocaust may never occur again.

Everything does, however, make you capable of standing where it was born.  ,
I have no idea where I’d go when I visit an eradication station like Auschwitz or Treblinka, where the Nazis occasionally kill more Holocaust survivors in a single week than Dachau did during its 12-year life.
I find it unbelievable that Dachau was a day or two before the Allied success over the Nazis. 41 years earlier, Dachau’s independence by the U.S. Army was only 39 years old at the time of the 1984 summer.  ,
Some people require a session in past.
Greta Thunberg, level placed, enters.  ,
In case you’ve had the luck to forget, Thunberg is the resentful Swedish thief who, if there are cameras near, locks herself onto whatever Left cause is trending. Therefore, I had no reason to put my startled mouth in cold store when Greta and her” Selfie Yacht” team traveled to the Eastern Med to offer a pointless — but stunning — quantity of “relief” to the starving Gazans who might not have eaten since following meal.
Because of course she did, Thunberg called her small and lawful incarceration a “kidnapping.”  ,

Therefore, I found it amusing to read that Thunberg and her soldiers would be required to watch Hamas ‘ individual movie of the terror invasion on October 7. Israeli Defense Chief Israel Katz announced Monday that Greta and her fleet colleagues were escorted into a place to watch the horror movie The October 7 Massacre.
The rest of what Katz said,” When they saw what it was about, they refused to continue watching,” I say with grief and rage.”
How dare you, Greta? You cowardice.
