The original Sinaloa Cartel president from Mexico is regarded as responsible for the murder of more than 34 000 people. He is said to have founded an empire focused on drug trafficking. He is currently serving out a life sentence in ADX Florence, a supermax incarceration in Colorado.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent specifically stated that the US would remain sanctioning the two gentlemen and Los Chapitos. Additionally, the State Department is rewarding their detention. Los Chapitos is “at the vanguard of fentanyl smuggling into the United States,” according to Bessent, and Treasury is using every means at its disposal to halt the fentanyl problems and save lives. &nbsp,

The Sinaloa Cartel’s false pills, which were manufactured in Los Chapitos, were brought into the United States through fentanyl-controlled labs. In Sonora, Mexico, past U.S. Marine Nicholas Quets was killed on October 18, 2024, in addition to militants connected to the Sinaloa Cartel. Also, OFAC is hiring Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar and Ivan Guzman Salazar, children of imprisoned Sinaloa Cartel head Joaquin” El Chapo” Guzman Loera, as criminal leaders of Los Chapitos. &nbsp,

This knowledge was repeated in Tammy Bruce’s statement, according to State Department spokesperson.
