President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday that he intends to apply “heavy power” against anyone who opposes the June 14 festival honoring the Army‘s 250th anniversary.

Trump said,” If there’s any activist who wants to come out, they will be met with really big power.” You may not have heard of a rally, but you are aware that these are people who despise our nation and who will be met with a lot of pressure.

Trump made the comments after he deployed the National Guard and 700 Soldiers to halt the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.

Trump’s decision to stage a military parade, which falls on his birthday and Flag Day, has drawn criticism for its$ 45 million price tag and claims that the holidays serve as a showdown between him and his personality. &nbsp,

Walmart heir Christy Walton purchased a full-color website advert in the New York Times that read” No Kings Day” on June 14. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL ) asserted that the recruitment visit is” a global counterprotest plan for Trump’s birthday” despite the fact that the ad does not specifically mention Trump.

The Secret Service announced on Monday that it is now monitoring nine small demonstrations.

From the standpoint of the Secret Service, it’s just folks using their First Amendment right to protest because we’re not going to do anything with it, according to Matt McCool, a special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Washington Field Office. However,” the Metropolitan Police Department], Park Police, and Secret Service may be involved if that turns aggressive or any rules are broken.”

According to Army officials, the festival will take place in city Washington, D.C., and may have 50 defense vehicles, including 25 M1 Abrams main war tanks and 50 helicopters, as well as performances from seven military bands,” to show the Army’s 250 years of service to the nation.” Additionally, there will be 6, 000 military personnel current, dressed in clothing from American military personnel from all military engagements since the American Revolution.

” We’re getting ready for a lot of crowd-sourcing, hundreds of thousands of people,” she said. Every participant’s safety and security is our responsibility. We are deploying “many thousand of officials, soldiers, and scientists from all over the state,” McCool said.

The White House reached out to The Washington Examiner to find out what Trump meant by “big power.”
