After ICE conducted wonder attacks on companies accused of hiring illegal immigrants, the protests started. Numerous people, including foreigners from Mexico and Indonesia, were detained as a result of the assaults, which sparked widespread rage and demonstrations all over the city. While some protests remained quiet, some turned violent, causing looting, police confrontations, and property damage. Mayor Bass acted in reply and decided to impose the law to protect public safety. Governor of California Gavin Newsom criticized the national government’s decision to send defense forces, calling it unsafe and unfair. Donald Trump, president, defended the action, claiming that order was required to restore order, and also mentioned the possibility of using the Insurrection Act in the event of an even worse situation. Numerous foreign governments have issued go recommendations for Los Angeles residents, urging them to be home and avoid huge groups, including those from China, Indonesia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Citizens are advised to follow restriction rules and follow Mayor Bass’s social media posts and official news sources.
