Glendale Community College’s English teacher just sent an message to the campus community urging them to visit the protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The chaotic demonstrations in downtown Los Angeles have resulted in the injury of at least five police officers and the destruction of property, stealing, fire, and other tragedies.
According to photos of the word that was posted on X, Julie Gamberg, a faculty member at Glendale Community College, sent an email promoting anti-ICE presentations organized by the Democratic Socialists of America’s Los Angeles section on Sunday.
A DSA flier Gamberg embedded in her message says that” people who know their rights can destroy and sluggish ICE attacks.”
In her letter to the group school’s” Issues” email listserv, Gamberg stated,” I wanted to share that Glendale has a deal to hold ICE detainees and there is some mobilizing around Tuesday’s city committee meeting.
She provided a website to a Los Angeles Times article that read, “LA district is holding ICE prisoners in its prison, sidelining sanctuary rules.”
The contact made mention of plans to fight law enforcement activities on Monday and Tuesday of this week, with one mentioning a rally in Grand Park, Louisiana, to protest a native union leader’s arrest and the other targeting the Glendale committee meeting.
Instructors at Glendale Community College and at other establishments have been instructed by their respective administrations to NOT INTERFACE DHS or ICE activities.

The LA Times called the plaza protest “peaceful and boisterous” and referred to it as “peaceful and boisterous.”
They chanted, sang, and carried out symptoms with the words” Woody Margaritas B-Cuz F-ICE.” Their presence stood out in stark contrast to the quiet, greatly vandalized, and lined with officers and National Guard cars in the city that surrounded them.
Gamberg’s X profile state” Liberation Pedagogy” and” Black Lives Matter,” according to photos.
Why does GCC permit its teachers to instantly organize against ICE and tamper with them? asked liberal activist Sarah Fields, who posted the photos.
The College Fix could not reach Gamberg and Glendale Community College’s internet affairs division for comment later on Tuesday.
