A three-member commission to investigate the incident in Bangladesh’s Sirajganj city was set up by a mob that attacked and vandalized Rabindranath Tagore’s ancient home, according to media reports on Wednesday. A user and his family visited the Kachharibari, also known as Rabindra Kachharibari or Rabindra Memorial Museum, on Jun 8 in the Sirajganj area. He reportedly got into a fight with an individual there over the bike parking fee, according to bdnews24.com. Eventually, the visitor was allegedly assaulted actually and confined to an office space. Locals protested by creating a human ring on Tuesday as a result of the event. A mob after attacked and beat a Kachhari Bari director, who was also being attacked. A three-member sensor committee was set up by the Department of Archeology to check the attack following the incident, according to BSS news agency. According to Md. Habibur Rahman, the steward of the Kacharibari, the power has temporarily halted guests ‘ access to the Kacharibari according to “unavoidable circumstances.” He was quoted as saying by BSS that the department is monitoring the overall condition of the Kacharibari and that the committee has been asked to submit its record within the next five running days. Kachharibari, a family home and profit center, is located in Shahzadpur in the Rajshahi division. Some of Rabindranath Tagore’s artistic works were produced while residing in this castle.
