Opinion: M. Joseph Willette resisted criticizing the Catholic Mass because it appeared he was unable to produce beautiful works of art.
The University of Nebraska Lincoln really have handed it back to M. Joseph Willette when he finished his graduate program and asked him to produce something of value.
However, Professor Felix Olschofka’s Glen Korff School of Music appears to have no trouble making fun of Catholicism.
Willette ( pictured ) created a drag performance version of the Catholic Mass and performed it at a local Lutheran church, as covered by The College Fix numerous times.
The performance includes regions of the Mass that are not included in the original liturgy, such as the Kyrie, where the honest ask for God’s mercy, and the Sanctus, where Catholic venerate the Eucharist. What I want to concentrate on is the low-quality operate the UNL audio office supports and how it is unbecoming of an educational institution is the unpleasant parts of the Mass, which have been covered half by Fix articles previously.
Simply put, Willette lacks the technical ability to make good music, so he has to rely on politically charged and unpleasant works. He lacks knowledge of what makes songs wonderful. He disparages fine music as well as Catholicism.
The move functionality, which is supposed to resemble the Catholic Mass, is shown in the following videos.
This University of Nebraska child’s song is just really, truly awful, in addition to being disrespectful. I mean, actually small value, very jarring, and terrible to listen to. photograph. twitter.com/glPAre6bVo

I don’t contest the fact that the song sounds like some post-Vatican II Catholic Masses because the music is just poor and dirty.
There is no unity or coherence in the songs. It sounds worse than a presentation for a junior high school circle. The annoying percussionist music in one clip luckily drowns out the poor singing in the next.
The highlight of the entire present is when it ends.
The song office needs to be able to create high-quality music. Compare Professor Olschofka’s instrument achievement to Willette’s terrible performance.

or this other 2025 graduate’s music functionality.
Willette’s performance offends Catholics as well as one’s ears.
He always ought to have been given a PhD, and UNL ought to consider what, if any, requirements for awarding doctorates.
Further: The new book by sociologist explores “intersectional female criminology.”
M. Joseph Willette earns his doctorate at UNL, UNL/YouTube, and IMAGE CAPTION AND CREDIT.
