
A U.S. Army general stated on Wednesday that Los Angeles safety forces will be able to hold people until law enforcement agents intervene to apprehend them.  ,
The 700 Marines and 4, 000 National Guard troops were given orders to the City of Angels on Wednesday in response to the demonstrations against the government’s immigration assaults, according to Maj. Gen. Scott Sherman, who was quoted as saying” they are completely there detained and waiting for law enforcement to come and handle those marchers.”
On Wednesday, Sherman stated that the Marines would not be operating on the city’s streets and that they would be going through” legal commotion training and the applicable laws of force training.”
The general said,” Well, actually for rules of engagement, we are totally these to protect national facilities and to protect national agencies and their employees and allow them to do their jobs.” We are only there to assist them in carrying out their duties and safeguard them.
While the troops are stationed in Los Angeles, Sherman claims that they won’t have live weapons in their arms.  ,
They are taught to apply their weapons, and they are taught to do so for personal defense. They are doing that, but this is masses power because of it. This is something we do not typically do,” Sherman, the army ‘ captain, said.
The demonstrations in Los Angeles have gotten worse as some activists have set cars on fire and vandalized a national tower, and they have also spread to different cities across the country.  ,
On Tuesday, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass ( D) imposed a curfew that covers 1 square mile in downtown Los Angeles that starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 6 a.m. Almost 200 activists were taken into custody in Los Angeles on Tuesday.  ,
Avoid the area if you don’t live or job in the center of downtown Los Angeles. According to Bass, during a media conference on Tuesday, law enforcement did arrest those who violate the law and you will be prosecuted.  ,
