UAE firm introduces long-lasting meals designed to be eaten up to 25 years later
All foods are halal-certified and made with feeding and taste in mind for 25 years.

A UAE-based business, Red Planet, is introducing ready-to-eat foods that can be consumed for up to 25 years, in a pioneering development for food safety and crisis preparedness. Cutting-edge freeze-drying technology allows these ultra-long shelf-life meals to be prepared without the use of artificial ingredients or cooling, which maintains style, nutrition, and safety. More than 95 % of the moisture is removed from the food in a carefully controlled environment, as Jassim Al Nowais, CEO of Red Planet, explained the process. Al Nowais said,” We start by removing water from the foods in a controlled atmosphere, which helps retain its original flavor, texture, and, most important, health price.” We then pack it in layers of oxygen-absorbing, light-, air-, and moisture-absorbing presentation. Without cooling or preservatives, this ensures the item stays healthy, fresh, and healthy for up to 25 years.

A Commitment to Food Security: More Than Shelf Living

Red Planet has now developed a fully developed restaurant and is targeting important sectors, including:

    • Humanitarian assistance organizations
    • Armed makes
    • firms in room
    • Government structures

Al Nowais emphasized the wider purpose of the engineering:” We don’t really concentrate on extending shelf life. For us, foods security means more than just storing things for emergencies; it means having access to quality food that people will actually want to have, whether it’s in five, ten, or even twenty-five decades. Red Planet has been constantly promoting its technology to corporate partners and global partners even though wholesale supply is in the network. Most recently, it took part in the Saudi Food Show 2025, which was held in Riyadh from May 12 to May 14 and showed how its answers improve regional conservation, crisis preparedness, and long-term nutrition.

A varied, locally sourced, Halal-certified menu

Red Planet’s products are both varied and historically informed. The restaurant serves a mix of traditional Emirati food and global favorites, all of which are halal-certified. Their ready-to-eat selection includes:

    • Poultry chicken
    • Meat machboos
    • Balaleet with egg
    • scrambled egg
    • Pasta topped with shredded beef
    • Vegetable corn

Every recipe has been developed to maintain its unique flavor and nutritional profile despite the most extreme circumstances. We’re not only providing assortment for the sake of it. Every food is made with care to keep its flavor, texture, and health value, even in the most harsh conditions, according to Al Nowais. Food is more important to us than energy; it serves as a reminder of home, a key component of endurance, and a source of comfort.

Looking Forward: Wholesale Launch and Approvals

Red Planet is in the last stages of obtaining UAE regulatory approvals, which is a crucial step before goods reach retail cabinets. This is a key component of our commitment to provide food that is both secure and high-quality and trusted by the people and places we serve, according to Al Nowais. Because it matters to us so much, I physically manage this stage of the process. Customers in the UAE is anticipate seeing Red Planet foods available for retail consumption once regulators have approved, a significant step forward in affordable, reliable, and high-quality food safety solutions made in the UAE.
