F1 visa updates: Will US soon lift restrictions on student visas as Trump goes soft on China?
The restrictions on foreign student visa might soon be lifted.

It is anticipated that the momentary suspension on international student visa applications will be lifted rapidly as President Donald Trump has softened his stance on Chinese students and said on Wednesday that Foreign students may be encouraged in US colleges and universities. Trump stated on Truth Social that the Trump administration had agreed to accept Chinese students under the terms of the US-China business agreement, adding that he had always supported accepting foreign pupils into the US because it benefits US institutions and universities as well. According to Trump, “500, 000 individuals are coming in from China.”

Wait all immigration interviews for cultural internet vetting

Secretary of State Marco Rubio instructed all US diplomats and diplomatic areas to temporarily halt all immigration discussions. The explanation given was used as a prelude to a thorough social media screening. Judicial sections should not add any more students to the F, M, and J visa appointment capacity until more guidance is issued, according to the cable, which we anticipate in the coming days, in preparation for an expansion of essential social media screening and vetting. State Department spokesman Tammy Bruce earlier this month remarked that the application process may start immediately and that students may continue to apply. People may watch for those openings and may keep applying. This is not going to get a drawn-out dynamic, Bruce said to the media. She claimed the meeting pause was intended to make sure embassies and consulates knew what to expect during additional vetting.” It was meant for a specific, about an operational adjustment.” We were told that the operation may be quick, according to Bruce.
