Authorities have identified a 57-year-old male as the suspect in two politically motivated murders that precise Minnesota politicians early on Saturday, killing Sen. John Hoffman and her family and injuring former state House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, according to authorities. According to two people with knowledge of the research, law enforcement officials identified the suspect as Vance Boelter. The suspect is accused of posing as a policeman official and carrying out coordinated attacks on two houses, one in Champlin, where Hoffman and his family were hurt, and the other in Brooklyn Park, where Hortman and her husband were shot dead. Police claim the attacker was driving a car resembled a squad car while wearing a false police uniform. Public Safety Commissioner Bob Jacobson criticized the suspect for “using the faith of our clothes.” A false police SUV discovered at one location contained a manifesto naming various lawmakers and authorities, including the two victims. Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley said,” We immediately made updates to the state,” adding that officials were presently providing additional protection to another potential target. We must all have against all forms of political violence, according to governor Tim Walz, who referred to the shootings as “targeted social violence.” A shelter-in-place order was issued in response to the attacks, according to Drew Evans, supervisor of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Authorities believe the suspect allegedly escaped from Hortman’s house after engaging in gunfire with officers. According to investigations, Hortman and her husband perished from bullet wounds. Despite being in critical condition, it was reported that the Hoffmans were being treated. Minnesota’s State Patrol urged people to stay away from” No Kings” protests planned across the state in response to the incident, citing safety concerns after similar flyers were discovered in the suspect’s car. Since then, organizers have canceled all demonstrations. In the Minneapolis cities, lots of heavily armed police and coroner’s deputies, including Peshawar units, set up checkpoints and searched for the shooter. Donald Trump, leader, stated that the FBI may help with the investigation and that it would pursue all possible charges against those responsible. According to him,” For brutal murder will not be tolerated in the United States of America.” Republican-run House Speaker Lisa Demuth called the murders “vil” and urged people to “lift up in worship the victims and law enforcement personnel.” Hortman was first elected in 2004 and served as House Speaker. Hoffman formerly served on the Anoka Hennepin School Board and has served in the Senate since 2012. The killings have sparked alarms all over the country because politicians are increasingly facing threats. Previous lawmaker and survivor of the shooting, Gabrielle Giffords, said:” An assault on lawmakers is an attack on American democracy itself.”
