In response to his discussions on COVID-19, which caused a significant reaction against the well-known blogger during the pandemic, podcaster Joe Rogan revealed on Tuesday that two former leaders called Spotify in 2022.
Rogan recalled how those who disagreed with his opinions on COVID-19 staged a protest against Spotify by removing their information from the streaming service in an effort to persuade it to delete or eliminate Rogan’s radio in 2022 during a Tuesday radio show with Dr. Mary Talley Bowden. One of the people who removed Spotify articles as part of the opposition against Rogan, according to Fox News, was musician Neil Young.
” And then all of a sudden, I hear that Neil Young wants me taken off of Spotify,” Rogan said. What the f-ck is going on? I asked myself. This is insane, Rogan said on Tuesday.
Rogan continued,” Music received calls from two previous presidents.”
When asked to confirm his assertion that two unnamed former presidents had called Spotify, Rogan frequently told Bowden,” Oh yeah.
Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said,” We want every system to maintain calling out misinformation while even uplifting appropriate information,” after Spotify announced in 2022 that it would include recommendations on information the company considered to be propaganda.

Our goal is for all major tech platforms, and all major news outlets, to be responsible and vigilant to give Americans access to truthful information on a topic as significant as COVID-19, Psaki said at the time.
Rogan explained that his podcast had doubled in one month despite the criticism of his COVID-19 discussions.
” People started talking,” Rogan said. And they began to listen, saying,” Oh, he’s really reasonable and pretty humble about all this stuff and is just asking questions.”
Rogan noted that his experience with the COVID-19 pandemic was a “wake-up call” that altered his opinion of liberal media outlets in his most recent podcast episode.
” It’s so filthy. It’s such a filthy business, Rogan claimed. The well-known podcaster claimed to once have “massive respect for journalists.”
Rogan continued,” If I hadn’t produced this podcast, I would be your regular schmo out there with, you know, just spitting out all the company lines and all the blast all over the news.” I kind of liked it more than that then. I didn’t believe there were any money-hungry demons out there who would willingly sacrifice human lives in order to make money.
