Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman, was killed by Secret Service agents on the spot. Ryan Routh, an armed man, was detained at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach for the following incident. The optics were disturbing, but no shots were fired. Two armed males, two nearby calls, and then a bold claim linking both occurrences to Tehran. US intelligence agencies are largely uninterested in the public. No official acknowledgment or citation. Only silence, in geopolitics, is often meaningless, and silence is rarely that.
