There’s a tale being pushed greatly by Democrat frontrunners and the press that the protests over the weekend were essentially peaceful and calm. I did say that if you have to talk about that, that ’s telling in of itself, but in this day and age, it also means it ’s probably not entirely correct.

For instance, in Salt Lake City, pictures were fired during the “No Kings ” protest. In Portland , points escalated into full-blown riots after protesters attacked federal soldiers stationed at the ICE facility—prompting a reply of break gas and non-lethal sessions. And in Los Angeles, despite the chaos elsewhere, Mayor Karen Bass still insisted the “No Kings ” protests were “overwhelmingly peaceful. ”
“ I will tell you, 30,000 citizens were there LA. There were demonstrations in 15 various areas in our area. I flew over each one of them, and they were largely calm, ” Bass told CNN’s Dana Bash. “It’s not shocking that at the end of a rally that you’re going to have some fight. Of course, I wish there was none at all, but I don’t think that characterized the day at all, ” Bass said. “ I mean, then, more than five people would have been arrested. ”
Monday, law enforcement officers and people of the U. S. Defense were being harassed and attacked in Democrat Mayor Karen Bass’s LA.

In fact, there is footage of a bunch of “protesters ” attacking a car in Los Angeles. The pilot, who had every reason to be wary, drove through them, running over one of the people attacking the car.

It remains to be seen what will happen in this case. Local media inevitably ignored the fact that the woman was part of a crowd attacking the car. In Florida, the vehicle may be protected by law for engaging in self-defense.
“If you’re driving on one of those streets and a crowd comes and surrounds your car and threatens you, you have a proper to escape for your health, ” Florida Gov. DeSantis said last week during an exam. “So if you drive down and you hit one of these people, that ’s their problem for impinging on you. ”

DeSantis drew a clear line between Florida’s hard stance on violence and the liberal conflict seen in violet says like California and New York. While places like Los Angeles help anti-ICE protesters to wreak havoc unchallenged, Florida is making it clear that criminals masquerading as protesters won’t get tolerated.
“You have a right to defend yourself in Florida, ” DeSantis said, rejecting the idea that people should have by blankly. In contrast, Democrats across the country seem more interested in protecting aggressive mobs than law-abiding Americans, which is why it seems plausible the driver of the vehicle is n’t likely to be treated as effectively as he would be in Florida. But picture yourself in that position. These individuals, whatever they are protesting, had no right to target bystanders the way this woman and the other people did.
